Purchased this steamer for the day to day tasks at the lab. Out of the box was great for about 3 weeks and steadily but surely , it’s performance began to decline as the weeks went by.We are extremely careful with our equipment and for sure, expected much more from this machine but it missed the mark.It Required constantly for water to be added up to 5 times a day even though it was not being used ( stand-by)My guess is that it was overheating while in service and kept using more and more more as the days went by andRight under the 90 day period of service it died on me.Do yourself a favor and invest in a quality steamer if you are considering using it on a daily basis since this one will leave you stranded.I was Glad, Amazon stood by my side on the return and they honored the refund.

You will need to use purified water with this machine, I am guessing to prevent build up. It is easy to use, and it does a great job cleaning jewelry, and parts. My husband wasn’t too happy with my choice initially, then he thought that he should try it out cleaning parts and suddenly it went from being my jewelry cleaner to our steam cleaner. So, now I guess we are both happy. I like that it cleans all the nooks and crannies on my more decorative jewelry with little to no effort, which is something that took quite a bit of work before. My husband likes that it cleans dirt and grime and all kinds of other stuff off of tools, parts and anything else that he feels the need to clean up. All that to say that this is something that I think is multiuse and there are probably more uses that we haven’t thought of yet. It is a bit expensive at the current price of $339.99 but it is so easy to use and does such a great job that I dare say it’s worth it.

I wanted to clean my mom's jewelry for resale. Theis works very well for getting into very small spots with extremely precise targeting. The foot switch is awesome. The multiple settings are noticeably different. I agree with other that this would be great for cleaning auto parts. I had to be careful with some costume jewelry as this will fracture/discolor some gems. ITs very powerful but convenient enough to use in a living room. The handle makes it very portable even though it has some weight to it.Multiple uses can be found for this making it a good value. I use it about three time a month at the moment but will be using it more as I get into more project. This does not polish but it strips object of dirt and grease very well.

We are using this steamer to clean old parts like hubcaps to car parts! It works really well and frankly, our detailer is tickled pink over this unit! It is a wonderful machine that will save you lots of time cleaning intricate objects safely. I would highly recommend this tool It is awesome!

It comes with several different accessories. I’m sure it can be used to clean other things besides just jewelry. Has a nice digital touchscreen. Make sure you use purified water for this machine. Works good and is of good quality.

Great way to clean my jewelry and every since buying this all my family relatives have been asking me to clean theirs. Its great to have and this is very strong like commerical grade. Would not recommend this if you just wanted to do your own but if you have the money to spare then this is well worth it.
