Stunning set with incredible detail — a joy to build!
This Rivendell LEGO set is absolutely amazing. The build was not only fun but also incredibly satisfying — every section has small, thoughtful details that really bring the scene to life. The architecture, colors, and landscaping are beautifully designed. There are lots of tiny decorative elements that make you stop and admire the craftsmanship while assembling. As a fan of both LEGO and The Lord of the Rings, I was completely immersed in the process. It’s a long build, but never boring. Highly recommended for collectors or anyone who enjoys detailed sets.

Beautiful, fun, challenging and time consuming (in a good way!)
Beautiful build with MANY MANY bags/pieces. Took about a week to complete at a total of about 15 hours. Building experience was enjoyable and challenging. The design features many curved, organic and natural shapes and uses many unique building techniques to accomplish that look. The set has many fun Easter eggs and includes a large selection of minifigures. A great set for teen-adult level builders and Lord of the Rings fans!

This is lovely with the light addition
Bought this for my grown son. He has a cat. It’s too beautiful for a cat toy lol. Very challenging set but worth it.

Everything I hoped it would be!
I had my eye on this set since it launched. I have loved Lego since I was a child in the 80's. I have passed this on to my kids. I have also loved LOTR since I saw it in the theatres when the movies came out. I don't buy Legos for myself, but for this I made an exception. This is the perfect combination for lovers of both. The detail was terrific. I loved all the scenes from the movies as well as all the minifigs. I assembled it while watching the extended versions of The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings. It timed out about right! It was challenging enough, but not confusing.I did have one piece that was wrong, but Lego sent the right piece within 7 days.Well worth the money and a beautiful display piece.

A must buy LotR Lego set
A great Lego set, perfect if you’re a Lord of the Rings fan. Lots of pieces and mini figures. Yeah, it’s quite pricey but you pay for what you get. My son who was 17 at the time bought it, built it, and then left it to collect dust in his bedroom for the past year.

LOTR Lego!
This was a fun build, I love Lord of the Rings and Rivendell should be at the top of any LOTR and Lego fan. It’s over 6k pieces but most of it is roof tiles and leaves. It’s definitely a great value and tons of minifigures too!

Absolutely worth the price
I nearly gave myself a stroke by paying $500 for a Lego set. While I really enjoy the Lord of the Rings movies, I don't consider myself a die-hard fan. However, from the moment I saw this, I knew I had to have it. This set does not disappoint. As always with Lego, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The entire set was an absolute joy to build, and I love all the intricate details! Whether you are a LOTR fan, or just love Lego sets, I recommend treating yourself. Is it worth $500? To me, it is worth every penny.
