I ended up buying two and leaving out the side panel to combine and create a larger enclosure. The size of one on its own is fine and meets standards requirements at the time of writing this review, I just felt things were extremely condensed even for a robo. I was worried dirt may slip between any cracks but it’s solidly sealed and even came with a plastic mat to put underneath and protect the wood. It did take quite a bit of set up, the first construction took 12 hours and the second 5. But it’s well worth the high quality. The plastic makes it easy to clean, it’s light weight, and really sturdy. With everything inside I can move one side or the other on my own. Highly recommend for newbies and long time hamster owners. I recommend this enclosure to everyone.

I really like this product. the instruction is very clear and easy to follow!!! Needs two adults to put it together but not too hard. The design is so good. The bottom is lifted up with storage for supplies. Top section is large and deep with detail considered for hamster. Cannot love it more.

I wanted to write a review for a couple reasons. First of all, my oldest daughter has this cage and loves it, as does her hamster. So because of that, my youngest daughter wanted to get the same cage for her hamster. My dad purchased the cage for my daughter’s birthday, and I wasn’t aware that he had purchased it, so I ended up purchasing it too. After I found out he had purchased it, I needed to send mine back. The box is very heavy, probably about 75lbs, so shipping was very expensive. After going back and forth with the seller about shipping, the cost, and pictures to prove I didn’t open it, they not only paid for the full shipping cost of the cage, but they also refunded me the full amount after they received the cage. I was very happy to see that, because I thought they would try to keep some money for the shipping, but they didn’t, and I want to commend them for that. Thank you to the seller, and I would recommend this cage, as well as the seller.

I purchased this for a hamster so that I could give her adequate living space at a more affordable price than what the pet store offers. I made a silly mistake the first time that I built it in that I didn't realize the plastic windows have protective film on BOTH sides, so it initially had a frosted glass effect.While doing my homework on how to make my hamster as happy as possible I learned that they like deep bedding to burrow in. I got creative and cut out the floor to one side of this enclosure, replaced the door on that side of the cabinet with a plexiglass panel, and then gave my hamster an roughly two feet of additional burrowing space below what was already in the upper enclosure. She loves it and rewarded my effort by learning my sleep routine and only coming out when I'm asleep, then running away like a wild mouse if she detects me moving while she's on the surface. I always knew having a ghost hamster was a risk when I adopted a naturally solitary animal that never asked to be somebody's pet, but I am content in the fact that I'm giving her the best life I can with plenty of enrichment and space to roam.

This is super nice, deep enough for 6-8 inches of bedding and large enough for hamster to roam and play all night. Hamster loves enclosure and the space he has now

My daughter is getting a hamster next month and I bought this product. It came faster then it was supposed to come. It is absolutely very heavy. So be careful when you bring it in. It is also big. At first I thought it was small cage due to the picture. It is enough for Syrian hamsters and big for dwarf hamsters too. I really recommend this product.

This is a great habitat for my two female gerbils, Crystal and Gem. It was easy to put together and allows easy access to clean and handle. I will never understand why they don’t sell products like these at Petco/Petsmart.

It arrived insanely fast! It’s a very good cage, my only problems are that it came with one of the cabinets chipped. The wood chips very easily. Also the acrylic panels get scratched up SO easily, and the top doesn’t close all the way. (Also I’m fully aware that my cage doesn’t have all the necessities in it yet but I have more packages coming very soon!!)
