Bolst's Curry Powder Hot 425 g

As other reviewers state, this stuff makes an amazing curry. It’s not too hot and you get a lot for your money. I’ll buy this again for sure. Lasts a long time and my tastebuds are thanking me!

We've been using this since early 70s ,great taste certainly worth the money wouldn't change it now .family now grown up ALL use it.

The flavour of this curry powder is good - nice and deep and all the spices come through - I would have given it 5 stars but having followed their instructions to the letter to prepare a basic curry - and using the right amount of curry powder I was pretty disappointed with how hot it was. Mild would sum the heat up at best. For something advertising itself as hot curry powder, I expected more. Of course next time I can put twice or even three times the amount of powder in the curry but that seems to defeat the purpose of buying a hot powder in the first place....

I am now on my 3rd tin of this curry powder. A really good balance of curry flavours. It is marked as hot on the tin but to be honest, as long as you don't use half a tin at a time it provides a good level of heat. It also tones down well using coconut milk.I have used it as a top up flavouring with ready made curry sauces and it works particularly well making my own coronation chicken mixed with mayonnaise and a spoonful of creme fraiche or just as a spicy dip. A very useful storecupboard addition.

Used to buy this years ago found it again on Amazon. Fantastic flavour and so much better value than tiny supermarket jars .

This is my go to for Curry paste, I use it in my base sauces it is very flavour sum.
