Inconsistent Quality- Had To Return
I was pretty disappointed by this product. The quality was not consistent. Some pieces were very spongy, some extremely hard to where I couldn't crumble them over my cat's food. He has IBD so I was looking for a topper for his food. He rejected this. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

Cat loves them, but expensive for the amount
Our cat is on a hydrolyzed protein prescription food due to allergies and recurring URIs, so while we do this “elimination” period she can’t have her usual treats. I wanted to look for a treat she could still have that had no animal protein. Then I found these! We already knew our cat likes 100% pumpkin puree from a can, as well as freeze-dried treats, so we figured we’d give these a go. It took her a second to recognize that they were treats since they don’t smell like your typical meat-based treats - she stood there sniffing them. But when she ate one you could see the lightbulb go off and now she gobbles them right up and screams when I bring out the bag. They’re a good size for a cat and I like that we can also easily crush them up as a topper or cut them in half for training. I love that there’s only one ingredient, just 100% pumpkin.I *don’t* love that these are $14 for just pumpkin when a can of puree at the grocery store costs about $3. Can’t say I’d continue to buy these long-term due to the price - hopefully we’ll be able to reintroduce some of our cat’s usual food and treats eventually, but for now these are perfect while we’re eliminating potential animal protein allergen sources.

Our cats wont touch them. Other suggestions.
I am sure these would be a great product if our cats would eat them. I have to suspect that most cats wont eat these and that they are more successful as a dog treat.Pumpkin is a great fiber to give your cats and thankfully high end pet food brands like Farmina make wet and dry food with pumpkin in it.There is also a nice chicken and pumpkin paste in a pouch made by pure bites here on amazon but it doesn't have any added vitamins so it has to be an occasional addition to the diet and not the everyday food. There is also a great powdered fiber supplement with pumpkin here on amazon made by Fera.

My cat said no
For me this was a disappointment. The items were colorless and puffy squares of bland that my cat would not touch. I tried it as is, I tried soaking it to soften but he still would have nothing to do with it. Pumpkin is good for his stomach but this just did not meet my cats approval.

Great single ingredient treat! Helps with digestive issues.
As a vet and dog parent I love so many things about this company and this treat in particular! No mess (since it’s freeze dried), single ingredient, made in the USA (low carbon footprint), my dog loves them and added bonus they help with diarrhea! When training any dog ESPECIALLY a puppy you reward them with hundreds of treats per day especially in the early days. This can lead to tummy upset and diarrhea very easily. Not so with the pumpkin treats and in fact on days he did have some loose stools (due to too many other treats) I would give him a sprinkle of these and it would help. We are now on our 8th bag since August. My only complaint is I wish they came in a larger sized bag since our pup is now 6 months old and over 100lbs!
