Works fine, saw many cheaper alternatives but decided best to stick with official product. Does what it says on the tin, avoid if you have carpet as this is hard floor head

I was a bit suspicious of this listing at first as some of the other reviews complain they received a model different to the one in the picture. I am happy to report that the one I received is a genuine Dyson part and it does have the second soft roller at the back which some people are missing. It fits my V8 Animal and did a great job on my dusty wooden floors. Only slightly cheaper than the Dyson website but great if you have Amazon vouchers and Prime for next day delivery.

This fits my v8 animal perfectly as expected. I hate dyson and their rip off prices, this even more so. Such poor value for money, but needed if you have hard floors and pets. We’ve got lots of cats and they throw and drag cat literally around (it’s the eco paper type). The normal dyson head works great on carpets but just seems to push stuff around the hard floors.This soft roller head allows for the larger bits to be picked up nicely. Great product, poor price.

A big improvement on the old one without the rear roller. I had refurbed my old one but this Easier to hoover round and works better as not so reliant on the felt strips. Worth getting especially if you have replaced the battery. Now it really is as good as new.

Brought to replace the original that broke after three years of use. Arrived quickly and was as described. Does a good job, just a shame the original only lasted 3 years before failing.

I have the V8 animal which comes with the head for carpets. I moved house to one with more wooden flooring and so got this head. It fits the V8 animal and it works brilliantly. Very good for hard floors and you have very good control on the direction and movement of the head.
