AMAZINGLY Good Cable at a Great Price
Wow... Truly exciting: This cable is TERRIFIC for the price. The jacket is slippery, it uncoils (and untwists) easily. And it's definitely tolerant of a bit of abuse during installation. The write-up says the cables use "Corning G.657.A2 optical fibres" -- I'd be happier if they specified WHICH Corning product they use (c'mon guys, if it's ClearCurve LBL, for GOODness sakes SAY so, so we can all be happy). The connectors aren't the sturdiest (and note that the connectors on the duplex cables are *not* two simplex connectors joined together, so you can't undo the connectors on a duplex cable and zip it apart into two simplex cables). Having said that, the connectors seem to be more than adequate for the job.You can see I'm picking on minor details, because this stuff seems to be pretty damn nice, especially given that you can buy it pre-terminated in so many lengths, and at a super nice cost.Definitely recommended. In fact, I'm going to place an order for another 30m right now.

Positively surprised
I ran a conference and had this cable (100ft version) running on a carpeted, concrete floor, covered only with gaff tape. It was not my intent to do this, but the alternative of running 350 feet of cabling around the perimeter was not going to be clean or easy. Luckily I had a couple of weeks to think about this, so that's why I, searched for and found this "armored" cable.Good thing I did. Unbeknownst to me, this exhibit hall featured only one ingress/egress for all of the catering, drinks, etc. So, when coffee, food, dishes, trash, equipment crates, etc, had to be moved, it was all being driven over my cable. To my amazement, the cable survived and my setup was never harmed. When it was time to strike, we pulled up the tape, spooled the cable back to the way it was, and I had no reason to believe I couldn't use it again.Looks like I will be purchasing more of these cables in the future.

Cable seems well made and works
Most of my experience with fiber has been through work, and has been multi-mode fiber. I am starting to look into fiber for connectivity of multiple buildings on my property as a replacement for some Wi-Fi bridges that are not as performant as I would like. This cable seems as well made as the various brands of cables I have used at work. The only thing I overlooked was that this was a single strand of LC/LC cable, not a duplex cable that I originally expected. This was an oversight on my part, and gave me a good excuse to order a couple of bi-directional SFPs to test this cable. In testing with a pair of 10GTek SFPs, I got a full 1gb connection without issue. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07897PG42

Received the desired "UPC" vs. "PC" LC connectors, product description needs to be improved
I needed a shorter custom length, but this 75M 3mm armored cable worked OK for a quick ship first run through 1/2 PEX buried shovel deep down a sandy tree filled hillside. 1st attempts to push the LC connector through bound up, but replacing the bulky taped LC cap with a smaller cap & heat shrink slid the connector through my non-standard conduit. Passing unterminated fiber through micro conduit is the professional way to do this, but I don't have a retail source for those supplies & tools. Before purchasing this spool, I noticed several product description inconsistancies possibly due to the multiple connector choices under this one product. I chose this product because it had far more details than other generic simplex singlemode 9/125um fibers... the usual problem being the exact connector finish detail. The spool had the detailed info on the label. The only down side is that these cables do not show the factory test results for measured signal quality. This 3mm armored outdoor cable might be buried without conduit, but this fiber replaces 4 failed outdoor copper runs over the past couple decades.Paried with Ubiquiti UACC-OM-SM-1G-S single mode bi-directional SFP module kit rated for 3km 1.25Gbit full duplex.Conditionally rated 1 star down... FS and other suppliers provide custom lengths and known products if you can plan ahead, and I don't know how multi-year weathering will behave.

using to joint two buildings with media converter
I have two buildings within 75' of each other and I was concerned ethernet cable would cause electrical issues. Optical cables provide non conductive network connections and do not pass current through them.

Armored cable for the mice
Sometimes I have mice come into the areas where I have fiber run. Normally they won't touch it, but it's nice to know that this fiber cable is jacketed to dissuade them. Significantly thicker than most fiber cables I've worked with. Recommend!
