Not sure if the plastic surround also contains BPA, unless it is clearly stated to not contain BPA, that might be another reason prop 65 is listed. Finally, claiming CA is a "sue-happy state" dismisses valid warnings that others might find important. Everyone should have all the info so they can make the best decision for their families. You might not care about birth defects and fetal harm, but someone who is pregnant might find that useful. Although as the prop 65 page has stated, the amount is low enough to be safe, having this info allows every parent to make an informed decision for their children.
