I loaded up a 4K wallpaper of a mountain range and I’m pretty sure a hawk flew out of the screen and nested on my ceiling. Absolutely! This is one case where I wish I had not stayed so excessively frugal for so long, holding on to my previous, smaller monitor. Superlative color accuracy, brightness, and sharpness are all provided through this beautiful monitor! The ultimate value for money, achieved through the purchase of this ASUS monitor, confirms my impression of this brand! This spectacular ASUS monitor raises the everyday experience of computing on all levels. I want to add a special appreciation for the almost non-existent side panels which allow a very wide screen to fit in a very conservative space limitation, especially for such a wide, spacious monitor, nice! Even the packaging, not a scratch or mar anywhere on the device upon opening, what a monitor purchasing game winning experience!

Very happy with this monitor. I bought it at lower price of $199 and liked it so much that I purchased two of them. I currently use them on a Mac Mini. Very good resolution and it's easy on the eyes. Excellent purchase.

I just received the VY27UQ today, and have not yet powered it on.But for now I just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else: this package does not actually contain a DisplayPort cable.As of 12/15/2024, the "About this Item" section at the top of Amazon's page has a bullet "what's in the box" indicating that the box has both and HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable. But then there is a separate "what's in the box" section way down below which indicates only an HDMI cable.The box I received appeared to be undamaged and unopened, but doesn't have a DisplayPort cable. So it seems like it is not actually intended to have a DisplayPort cable, and it's just that the "About this item" section on Amazon's product page needs to be corrected. I let Amazon Support know, but I have no idea if or when it will be corrected, so I just wanted to possibly save another customer some time.I gave 4 stars just because it forced me to give a rating in order to submit this review. But I have many ASUS monitors, and I assume that this one will deliver everything expected once I actually get it connected.

Great monitor! I use a MacBook Pro for graduate school and sometimes get tired of looking a the small screen. Someone gave me a monitor to use with it, which was great, but I realized an additional monitor would make things even better. I purchased this monitor for doing school coursework (connected with USB-C), so I am unable to speak on its gaming capability. When I compare it with my other monitor (Samsung), I think the graphics and picture quality are much better on this ASUS, especially for the price point. Overall, this is a great monitor, and I would recommend it to others.

The speakers don't work! Well It's not the monitor that is bad, It my Computer.

Good buy for this monitor that works beautifully with all my other devices. It came with a HDMI cord so I didn't need to purchase one to have it set-up. Everything I needed came together and shipping was handled with care.
