I really don’t understand the low ratings for this product. I love it!! I used the medium one last summer and just ordered/used this extra dark which I prefer. Pleasant scent - unlike every self tanner I’ve ever used, they usually stink! I really like that it doesn’t have a color guard and goes on clear. I realize that’s not for everyone but if you’re experienced with applying with the mit it goes on evenly and I never notice any streaks. Gives me enough color to look like I’ve spent some time in the sun and doesn’t look orange or fake. Bonus that it has clean ingredients too because I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate me. I’ll try to remember to post a before and after picture next time I use it!

I loved this self-tanner. The mousse application is very easy and spreads evenly, leaving a natural, patchy tone. The color develops gradually and has a beautiful finish, without the orange tint that other products leave. Plus, the scent is quite pleasant compared to other self-tanners.I recommend exfoliating your skin before applying it and using a mitt for best results. I will definitely repurchase it.

The color developed is very nice. It's not orange, or fake looking. However, my bottle is not a mousse. It's a soupy liquid that is still sticky hours after application. I may have gotten a bad batch, but the first time I tried it I thought perhaps it had seperated in shipping or that the ambient temp was too cool. I tried it again today and no matter how much I shook the bottle of tanning "mousse" it was still a watery soup consistancy. I really wanted to love this product, but the consistency is a deal breaker.

I have been an avid self-tanner for YEARS now and have been really looking for a more natural and safe self-tanner when I FINALLY found this. This is a self tanner I can feel safe using, the ONLY questionable ingredient is Dihydroxyacetone, this is claimed to be derived from plants and therefore safer, but I'm not finding much research to back this up.I'm not sure if the lack of dangerous chemicals is the reason for this, but this is the best smelling self tanner I've ever used. Normally, after processing I can't wait to get it off of me, but this one is really not bad and fades throughout the processing. This formula does not have a color guide and applies clear, while this is amazing because there is 0 transfer to clothing, sheets or staining of the bathtub when rinsing, it is a little difficult to apply because you can't tell if you missed a spot.I apply this once, then reapply after 30 minutes and let sit for 7-8hours. If I want a little darker of a color, I will also re-apply once the next day and leave on for like 4-6hours. Should you miss a spot, it really is easy to correct, the next day you can go over that spot and it blends in really well. It is a little sticky, but after my second coat I just put on some baby powder and I am good to go.Color lasts for around a week and most of the time I can re-apply on top of the old tan. This wears really well, I won't be trying any other tanner again!

Used for my WEDDING!! Shown are my legs after 1 application, 24h apart. This is the only brand I will ever use! It never comes off on my white-bedsheets, and never stains my clothes. I prep with their exfoliation mitt, and apply with their mitt and back applicator. Pairs perfectly with the tanning lotion and tanning drops for your face and neck, or even touch up areas. Mousse doesn't smell icky, is white foam, and dries very quickly. Lotion is not tacky.

Left an orange tint the first 2-3 days and left my skin VERY dry. The color looked better the more it started to fade. It definitely did its job developing a tan because I'm pasty white and got the extra dark color so i definitely looked like i had a tan but it was still very orange the first couple days. Most concerning though is how much it dried my skin out. I do plan on trying out the lotion.
