I've bought 2 of these... the black for myself and the pink for my wife. I've had mine much longer than her and have never had a problem. When I recently received this pink one everything was fine but I the pink USB cable that came with it didn't function properly. I was able to just use a spare one I had laying around tho and it works fine now. Even tho the cable didn't work on my second purchase, I'm still giving 5 stars because of 2 reasons....1. The first one I bought for myself works like a charm almost a year later and I've never had an issue with it....2. The customer service rep replied quickly when I reached out about the pink cable not working. And even tho they couldn't issue me a new pink cable to match they were willing to send a new black one to make sure I was still able to use the mic.

after just a few uses, the MAONO DM30 RGB microphone is really good and I’m really impressed with its performance and aesthetics. The sound quality is crisp and clear, making it perfect for my Zoom calls, streaming, and occasional voice recording. The built-in pop filter helps reduce background noise and plosives, which is a big plus. The RGB lighting adds a nice touch to my setup and is customizable, which is a fun bonus if you enjoy a bit of flair in your workspace. The mic feels sturdy and well-built, and the included boom arm made it easy to position exactly where I need it without taking up desk space.

I bought this to upgrade from the headset mic I used while gaming, which didn’t sound good. This microphone sounds much better! It sounds very good, actually. Being able to control the volume and noise cancellation is very nice. The plug-n-play is really convenient, no extra set up required every time you want to use it. I like the light indicator; it’s red when muted, green when on, and blue when on with noise cancellation. The button to mute is a tap on top of the mic, which seems good so that people don’t hear a click when you switch the mic off. (I still have yet to test that.) The RGB lights are a nice touch too. The boom arm was pretty easy to set up, though I struggled a little bit with adjusting the vertical piece of the arm. I’ve never set one up before though, so maybe that was just me. I don’t plan to be adjusting the stand constantly, so I expect it should last well. The only issue I had was with the noise cancellation software - it wouldn’t update and in my attempt to fix it with the recommendations from their website, the microphone stopped working entirely. After trying everything, I contacted support and they sent me a new microphone. They were very polite and helpful. The new mic works great, I can use the noise cancellation without updating the software. Overall, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a not-super-expensive upgrade from a poor quality mic.

For the price it seems to be a really good mic. Sound quality is good, and it does what you need it to. As others mentioned, the build quality is a little cheap, but again for the price it does its job. I can definitely see how others managed to break theirs, especially at the point where the arm slips into the clamp. The metal is hollow and very weak. I figure as long as I am very careful with it, it will probably hold up fine, if not I'm certain it will break. I will probably put a wooden dowel inside the hollow metal post that fits into the clamp mount, in order to reinforce it. One other thing that is really annoying is that the USB port on the mic itself is lined up with the swivel mount that sits behind the mic, so this makes it nearly impossible to to plug the usb cable in while the mic is setup to any angle that you would likely use it at. I had to remove the mic completely from the mount housing and rotate it 180 degrees then reinstall it to make it work. The port should just be on the side.

I had an issue with the cable for my Maono DGM20s microphone and reached out to their support team. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly they responded and how easy they were to communicate with. They were professional, understanding, and resolved the issue in no time by offering a replacement. It's rare to find such responsive and helpful customer service these days, and it really made a difference. Because of this experience, I’ll be sticking with Maono for all of my future streaming and gaming equipment needs. Highly recommend!

Amazing microphone quality, it's a massive upgrade from having to use the headset mic. It's extremely easy to set up, the arm for it is sturdy and feels like it's going to last a long time, the cable is also really good quality too. I do wish there was some more options for the RGB, BUT, there is a lot of preprogrammed lighting options and it always sits on pink. All in all, I 100% suggest this to anyone looking for an affordable, long lasting mic.

The boom broke on this and I immediately contacted the customer support. Not only were they immediate on response, they took care of the problem quickly and will be sending me a new part immediately. Will definitely purchase from this company again! Shout out to Saily for the help!
