Wheelchair Lightweight Folding Compact Travel Transit Aid Hand Brake Wheelchairs

I met my wife when she was 19 and we've been together ever since. 55 years. I was a bit of a roughti tufti, she the opposite, and you know what they say about that. Recently she fell foul of the curse of modern society, cancer. There is no guarantee she'll survive but in anticipation of survival without mobility I purchased this.As yet she doesn.t know, because hope springs eternal. To date only I have tested it but it has what no other wheel chair I have ever seen has, a webbing brace which can be adjusted over the full width of the legs to give extra support. In addition it folds down laterally and vertically then has two webbing handles with which to carry. Also, besides brakes to hold it stable when sitting in, it has hand brakes , so no struggling against the forces of gravity when going downhill. The back is deep enough to allow for extra cushioning on the seat should it be required.It is heavy enough to be robust, but not too heavy to lift into a car boot. The rear wheels are chunky and appear to give a smooth ride, something to be considered if there is residual pain when jolted.I would recommend all the joints be given a good spray with lubricant to assist the collapsibility, but then any pivotal unit should always be treated in this way to make it effortlessly functional.All in all a good construction. It is advertised as "comfortable" and from what I've seen and felt it certainly is. I just hope and pray my wife never has to use it.

It is very comfortable and easy to push once I realised the wheels had strips of film wrapped round them for packing. The instructions were written in Chinese writing and I really struggled to push my friend in it. When I reached the car and cleaned the wheels the strips came off, it was much easier after that. It folds easily too.

The price is very good,and it is a sturdy item, it was delivered very quickly,I bought this so my family can take me for the weekly shopping,I recommend this to anyone who is in need of escaping home for a few hours.

Would not recommend this for anyone who is on the heavier side it’s great empty!!! But even though my father weighed very little it was far too difficult for my mum to push and impossible to get up and down kerbs /steps with him in

Very handy travel wheelchair folds down a treat for travelling, bought for my husband for when we go on a train journey next year. Was worried about having to use a motor mobile scooter across London but this wheelchair will fit nicely into a taxi to get between stations without having to worry about using the underground.

Nice and lightweight.Easy to unfold and fold and a comfortable seat.

Very poor quality especially where the foot rest is.

Needed a replacement lightweight wheelchair. This suits me fine.
