The glass is large, the light is bright, and the arm extends and rotates smoothly. It's sturdily built and easy to clamp to a table. I'm really pleased that the length of the arm and the width of the lens make it easy to have the magnifier positioned exactly where I need it, despite the fact that I sit in an oversized armchair. The lens itself is so clear that I don't always use the built-in light, which means it won't be obsolete when the LED burns out. I love that it has the option of either an electrical or a USB plug, and the heavyweight box will make it easy to take it with me when I travel. All of this at a terrific price, too! I'm buying another for a family member with macular degeneration.

I am very pleased with this magnifier. I have only used it in its clip-on configuration, and it performs exceptionally well. The arm remains stable and does not sway during use. I primarily use it for cross-stitch, finding it significantly easier and more effective than readers or traditional magnifying glasses. In comparison, I own a lamp from a reputable manufacturer, but its arm tends to shift while in use. My only concern is whether this magnifier truly provides the stated 10X magnification, which equates to 3.25 diopters, as it feels closer to 5X or 2.25 diopters. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend it.

A nice magnifying lamp, with two things to note:The greatest magnification is only in the very center of the glass, so it sometimes takes a minute to find the sweet spot. Also, while the arm does move into positions quite well, if you direct the lamp portion over the base a bit, the entire thing will tip over.The lights are bright and light the area well.

I have been looking for the perfect magnifying light. This is perfect for my cross stitch obsession. I have it sitting on he table next to my chair. Yes it is a little tippy when I have it extended over my stitching but a heavy book keeps it from tipping over. It’s the perfect size.

This is the primary tool for electronic builds.The magnifier is glass, and the lighting is good.

I wish I would have bought one of these sooner. This is great! Nice and sturdy, very clear magnification, multiple brightness settings. I have used this for so many things already. My screw came out of my glasses, no problem fixing them with this product. You can use it for everything you need to see close up. I love it! I can't say enough about this magnifier honestly.

Wife does a lot of hand sewing of quilts, and as she is a senior citizen, her eyes are not as great as they were 50 years ago.I watched her sewing with a magnifier attached to her eye glasses, and knew she was struggling to see the small detail work. So, I surprised her, and got her this light!She LOVES IT!So guys, if you want to be on the good side of your quilter or sewing wife, surprise her with this fine light, she will love you more if you do this.

I bought this light Aug. 4, 2023 and it no longer works. I would think it would last longer than a year and a half (with little use), that is why I rated it with only one star, although I did like it when it did work.
