The media could not be loaded. This tape recorded very well and sounds great on my reel to reel Sony TC-377, recording was Nirvana unplugged @ 7.5 ips from a vinyl source,I must say I’m very happy with the sound and quality of the recordingI’ll definitely be purchasing more.

plastic reel is a little flimsy but the tape quality is good

I was a little sceptical on the quality of this R2R tape, a most manufacturers no longer produce. I was very happy that my reservations were unfounded in this instance!My initial purchase arrived promptly the next day, and I have already used the first tape - good quality board used for the cases, and excellent frequency response on the tape stock.I have already ordered and received a further supply of blank 7" 1800FT. tapes - and have no hesitation in recommending to any other R2R enthusiasts who would like new tapes for their collection

In my late 60's I grew up with this stuff and now having a bit of a revival after 30 years with a refurbished Teac A4010 GSL. I also have a Aiwa 3700 3 head cassette deck through a good system so my ears are well calibrated to make judgement and as you get old you get built in Dolby in your head (no tape hiss)The quality of the reproduction is excellent and comparable to the best expensive tapes from back in the day. My beef is with the packaging and presentation that younger people may not be aware of. A £35 reel of tape should have leader tape at each end in as they always did even budget brands like Tandys concert tape, and nowadays leader tape and splicing stuff are hard to get. £35 doesn't get you any self adhesive index or title label's for the reel or box, not even any short strips of foil for auto revers decks. A premium tape would also come in a well constructed pvc case that often interlocked with each other.In short I will still look for new sealed old stock a lot cheaper. Never the less tape quality is 100%

Needed new tape for my SonyTC756 -2 Reel to reel as existing old tape was starting to give problems with the dreaded SSS syndrome, these being mainly Scotch and Ampex tape of the 80's. My BASF tapes of which I believe this formulation is based on appears to be still fine.Bought a 1100m 'Pancake' to evaluate. Delivery was spot on. very well packed and arrived practically overnight. It was easy to transfer the NAB pancake onto existing 10.5 inch spool. loaded onto to machine and recorded from Vinyl. It ran very smoothly though the heads at both 7.5 and 15IPS. Sound quality was great, very little difference from original, , no drop outs, stereo balance stable, very listenable. Possibly slightly quieter when comparing from source to output but not noticable when not comparing A/B.More importantly, running a spoolfull did not require cleaning of the tape path and heads everytime!Overall very pleased with product. 5 stars from me..!

Just the job as good quality tape can be hard to source.

I ordered the tape yesterday and I had received it before 1pm the next day. I have used RTM tape for years due to the high quality and durability for recording. Amazing product and service I will definitely be ordering more.

Great quality tape but it would be nice to have a leader and stickers like we did in the past. Also I wish Amazon would package them better as one reel had a crack in it when it arrived.

Compared with other 'sound carriers' (audio cassettes, audio cd') buying a traditional audio tape proves to be a (small) investment; however this audio tape gives a good quality impression.

Toujours au top, qualité constante de cette marque française. Parfait pour mes revox, teac et akai, même si les prix ont tendance à s'envoler ces derniers temps.
