Purchased for dwarf lotus plants. Might be a tad shallow for that, we'll see...but would work for a multitude of other plants. Very good feel of quality, glaze is very cool looking. Really happy with purchase.

I still haven't found time to start my lotus plants, but this seems like a perfect size.

I bought this lovely bowl because it has an image showing it full of miniature lotus leaves and flowers. I have never grown them before, so trusted this image to be an indicator that I was making the right choice for my attempt with this effort. I have four seedlings growing and this pot as indicated by my photo is to small to support this project. The very few leaves that have begun to show will not fit to lay along the surface of the water in the container without risking breaking their stems to make them fit. I've had to order a larger pot. Each leave and it's stem will measure about 5 inches in length if that is of any help at all. It's a beautiful pot, it's just to small for what I bought it for and I feel that the image is misleading.
