Works well for my intended purpose
I was looking for a safety system to use while working on a steep slope to control vegetation. This line and rope grab works perfectly. Seems very sturdy and easy to use. I'm not on a roof or tree climbing but have slipped down this slope several times while weed eating and trimming on it. Now, no fear of slipping and falling down. Also purchased a climbing harness with it.

I use it with treen clibming harness
for those rare occasions when I need to be up on the roof. give me and my wife piece of mind. I have not had to test the drop capability (thank God), so can't comment on its ability to absorb drop shock.
