Don't be a Dad - READ/FOLLOW directions on COVER!
I have been a Real Estate Broker for over 20 years, so I have had many experiences not just with my own garage keypad, but others. This is BY FAR the best keypad (replacement) I have ever used! Not only do I like the "red" backlighting, which is more visible during the bright sunlight, but when you press the buttons, it beeps to acknowledge you actually pressed the button and you don't need 80 pounds of pressure to do so! Only quirk, if you want to call it one, usually you just press Enter to close the open door and I haven't figured out yet why or when, but you otherwise just need to re-enter the code and press Enter to close. Not a deal breaker. With that said, to install. Get rid of the paper instructions. Not because they are necessarily wrong, but it is easier to follow the instructions on the cover as you need the keypad anyway and it took a few tries to get this connected and I think it was mostly a timing thing. But, once I had it down, it connected easily and as expected. You will probably have to try 10x, but because I am a Dad, I don't read the directions, so it did take a little longer than it should LOL. I installed as a replacement for my Chamberlain opener, which is about 10 years old and features MyQ.

Didnt work at first
Can't seem to get it programmed. The instructions are very simple. But nothing happens when trying to connect.EDIT: I could not get this thing to work for hours. Finally I figured it out. The instructions in step 6 say to press the enter button until the opener clicks. It should day to press and hold until the opener clicks. After the fact the only thing I don't like is that you have to put I'm the code and press and hold enter until it opens. My other one you do not have to hold the button. Also to close its not a 1 button close like I'm used to. You have to type the code then press and hold enter to close.I'll bump my rate up to 4 stars because it works but the instructions need a better explanation of the press and hold. Also the programing to a 1 button close would be way better.

Great customer service
Great customer support. I had a problem with both pads. One stopped working the other wouldn't work intermittently. When I contacted Seller and after going through some trouble shooting, they sent me 2 new ones.

Works great and is easy to program
Works great and was very easy to program. My car garage door opener's battery died when my front door was security latched from the inside, so it was a lifesaver to have this installed.

Easy set-up, works wikth LiftMaster
Great value for price- comes with 9V battery.Make sure to thoroughly read the directions! To double-check the process, I also read the original instructions for the garage door opener, so I would know the MHz frequency of the garage door- you have to program the keypad to match the door frequency. This unit replaced an OEM unit that was baked to failure in the Florida sun. I think the quality was better than the OEM unit.

Appears to be a good unit ... the installation instructions could use a bit of work
I initially followed the instructions to the "t". However, I discovered step #6 is incorrect. The instructions tell you to press the up/down key every two seconds, to sync the keypad to the garage door opener. This is WRONG (at least for my unit). I remember reading one of the comments stating you need to press and hold the up/down key at step 6. I tried doing that, and this sync'd the keypad to the garage door. It works perfectly now. Just hoping it will remain functional for years to come. Thanks!
