I spent a long time investigating which one to buy....and was set on the one in the hundreds of $$ assuming wrongly those were expensive and therefore must be better.After reading these reviews I thought I would give this a try. It could not be better. It has an incredibly comfortable and roomy adjustable belt, excellent tether material and plenty of length, and I was so shocked that for this price I could do exactly the kind of swimming (laps) I wanted to do. I didn't need to install it or drill holes in the deck....I secured the end around a pole. You can secure it to practically anything. So simple, built well, lightweight, easy to use. Thank you!

I tried this product in the hopes of being able to actually swim in my small 10x16 above ground pool to get some good exercise and hopefully improve my swimming ability in the process. It needs to be anchored above the water level behind you so your feet don't get tangled in the bungee. I have it anchored about 3 feet above water level to a post and it seems to work pretty well like that. There is enough give that I barely know it's there when swimming. The only downside I've found, and this is absolutely not this products fault, is that because of the small size of my pool the water gets very choppy quickly.I am very impressed by the quality given the low price. The belt is wide, padded, and comfortable. I am 6'2" and 275# with a 44 inch waist and the belt easily fits me with quite a bit of room to go larger.

This has been great to allow me to substitute lap swimming at the health club with getting just as good of a workout in my own pool with the tether. I have 5ft pole that I put into the dirt on the edge of my pool decking, about 10 feet from the pool edge. I needed a bit of nylon chord to make it long enough, my only complaint. Works well. It’s comfortable to wear, swimming is a bit harder when not moving, but I just adjust my hand position to for less resistance. I don’t find any difficulty with breathing as some other have suggested small pools suffer from a lot more waves. My pool is probably average size, about 22k gallons. I wish I had discovered it earlier when my health club first closed last April.

It transform my small pool in to an open water swim. The belt is comfortable and the product is well made. I only wish it would have come in a mesh bag.

Much better. The belt is easily adjustable and very comfortable. The cord seems strong and sturdy as well. Have you ever bought something and were convinced that whoever designed it never tried to use it? That does not describe this belt. It works great for freestyle and breaststroke. I think it would probably work well for backstroke but I haven't tried that.I'm using it in an above ground pool with the tether about 18" above the waterline. Great workout for $40 and will save a lot of trips to the Aquatic Center.

All I can say is why did I not find out about these years ago!I have tried swimming against the very expensive pumps give resistance to a swimmer and therefore effectively make an endless pool.With one of those and you have to keep pace constantly. Not sure with this device!If you wanna go a bit faster you can, if you wanna go bit slower that’s also fine.Depending on how far you fixing point for your wall anchor is, You may need to extend the bungee cord but I have just done that with some rope attached to a wall then attached to the bungee cord.This thing is comfortable just over the hips or around the waist or even underneath an ample bust.I bought two for me and one for a friend and try and tell everybody about them. Perfect if you don’t have a huge pool and even if you do have a pool. In my 5 meter pool I have swim for over an hour without stopping.Love it!

This works great and allows me to swim in my above ground pool.

comes with easy to follow instructions and the cord is long I have to loop through and hook both ends to belt so am not in the center of the pool interrupting other swimmers. great resistance from the band and the belt fits well and is adjustable I am a 38 waist and there is room to expand to a larger waist if needed not sure how big. great product at a great price.
