I have no dislikes. I never had one of these tools before. It is very easy to use and does a nice job.I chainsaw carve & build tables ect,, and have lots of live edge wood that needs plaining. This plainer takes the chainsaw cuts out of the wood very easily and it is ready to be sanded. It is sturdy built and isn't heavy. It is not tiring to use either. I'd recommend practicing with it before using on an expensive piece of wood. Like the depth control as well. You get your money's worth out of it. The price is right. Satisfied Customer

Very skeptical on this purchase but man i sure was pleased with its performance! Had a bunch of rough cut oak boards i wanted to use in the bottom half of my laundry room but i all needed planing. I ordered this tool thinking if i can just get enough planed for two walls i would be satisfied. Man! It did its job effortlessly once i leaned how to get a feel for it. At the begiining i was being too hard on it exiting the board but once i learned to push down on the back just a tad and pull up on the front the same it was almost perfect. You wont hear me say this very often but this is a tool that is well worth the money! I highly recommend this for the diy guy or the contractor. Great tool!

Never had a planer before so I can’t compare it to anything else, but it works good and the price was right. With the cheap price you also happen to get an instruction manual that is machine translated and with “borrowed” images from other sources, and neither one should have a place in an instruction manual. I happen to like reading the manual before I use the tool and I had to search on-line for the most basic info I needed. If you don’t care about that you will have a tool that actually works and that is what I was looking for, cheap and I was able to clean off some old boards revealing nice stuff underneath.

Great buy for the money

I purchased this to use on a Black Walnut Slab that I turned into a coffee table. The blades were nice and sharp and it made it easy to finish my project quickly

it is same as makita planer , quality is very good because i am a carpenter

Bottom plates are not level. I had to run it over a bench sander to get it flat. A couple screws that hold the blades were so tight I had to cut a grove in them and use an impact hammer to break them loose. So I had to go to the store and buy new bolts. After all that, the machine works well. I ordered extra blades as the item said commanly ordered together. They will not work with this planer. Know what you are buying. I have used the machine and it cuts great after I fixed the problems. But I have a lot of tools to fix things. If you don't have a bench sander or impact tools. You are in trouble.
