The video instructions were super clear and easy to follow. I was already replacing my joysticks with hall effect sticks, so figured I'd go ahead and install the paddles too. You do have to solder, but it is a super easy solder job. I only cared about mapping R3 and L3, so it was just 2 solder points. I skipped the trackpad solder as I didn't have a need to remap it. The red I picked looks really nice with the black controller. Definitely worth the investment as I always hated having to press down on the sticks.

Don’t go spending loads of money on the new PS5 controllers, or a custom Scuff (I know, I almost did it too). Seriously, these kits are phenomenal. I have multiple, my oldest one is 3 years, and it’s still going strong. In fact, it’s been on multiple controllers because they die quicker than these kits do. Be careful with your installation (don’t pull those plugs too hard folks). I wrecked a ribbon cable in one of my kits by accident, but they sent me a replacement quick and easy. Customer service is bad everywhere these days, so I was pleasantly surprised, and even more grateful for it.MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT KIT FOR YOUR CONTROLLER MODEL (it’s easy to get the wrong one by accident).

Perfect fit for md30 controller. Very easy to install and they have a very useful video step by step in how to install it your self. Not big deal. You will need a soldering kit to install this. But over all is very easy. And end up working amazing.
