Small pieces but very well constructed. Instructions were very clear and understandable. Great value for price.

I bought this pirate ship set for my boyfriend, and it turned out to be a fantastic trip down memory lane. From the moment he started building, he was determined to finish it before sleeping. He encountered the same issue a few times, mistakenly thinking there were missing pieces (there were NOT!) It turned out he accidentally assembled a prior step wrong, I fixed it, making sure not to hurt his lego-building pride in the process.Despite the little challenges, the experience was deeply nostalgic for him. Every mistake and subsequent fix seemed to make him feel like a kid again, he stayed up till 3 am building this, and I woke up to it sitting on my nightstand, and I have to say, for a building block set, this pirate ship looks stunning, I have it in the den as a display piece and its oddly beautiful. There is just so much detail.Overall, this has been a satisfying (and 6 hr long) building experience but also a meaningful connection to his past. If you’re looking for a solid pirate set this IS the one.

Missing ONE critical piece, which made assembly impossible. The instructions are incredibly difficult to follow (for my husband, who tried to help our kid put it together).

Lego or not this set is amazing! Ingenuity, inspiration & quality are this builds hallmark! Great instructions in a manual with pieces that fit well together... usually! Comes with extra parts & everything for a ridiculous $27! There is no way you want to miss out on this set!

There's only one model not two like the product info makes it look like. Even the instructions make it look like there are two models at the very end even though it just walked you through building the one and only model.Anyway, this is a great model! The base that you build is flexible so you can bend the whole thing and pull out the kickstand you hid in the bottom.The instructions are clear and the bags are very clearly marked. There is no index of parts.The bricks are standard sized so will work with other blocks and kits. The bricks click together easily and stay together. The colors throughout the bricks are bright and beautiful.This is a fun, dynamic model that's going to look great on my gaming desk.

If you are familiar with the name-brand building sets, then you will recognize the layout of the instructions on this kit.The pieces fit together nicely, and they are the expected size. Overall, I see very little difference between this kit and name brand. I’m very happy with this kit.
