Extending our antenna improved the signal
Extended my TV antenna so it could be placed near the window. TV quality has improved dramatically!

Good enough but incomplete
This set was missing a female to female connector which is needed to join two cables and extend the reach of the wire.

was not sure if it was the cable box or the cheep cable that they give you with the box
