My kid learned all of his facts from this!
I am a math teacher and have a 9 year old son with autism that I work with a lot at home on academics. I had purchased one similar to this last year that went up to 10 x 10 and I wanted one that was 12 x 12 so he could learn his 11’s and 12’s the same way he learned his other facts. I taught him all of his multiplication facts using one of these. He likes that it is tangible and the cubes can be flipped over. He can also build area arrays with the cubes. My kid is not a flashcard kid. He won’t do flashcards, but he loves this! He plays with it on his own, which says a lot for a toy/educational product!

Fine but cheap
The wood is not great quality. I keep waiting for it to break.

Really hard to get out of the holes.
I really like this. Or I liked the idea of it. I thought a wooden one would be better than some cheap piece of plastic crap. And it is. The quality is very nice. And I liked that these went up to 12 as most of the products like this only go up to 9-10. That being said they are a huge pain in the butt to get out of the holes, and omg it needs to have a case so that they don’t just sit out. They have been spilled about 4 times already and it’s takes FOREVER to put them all back in. They work well, my daughter is learning her times tables… but if I could do it again I would get something that has a case so it can’t get knocked over and everything fall out, or I would get one that you can just push and see the answers underneath.(but like I said all those only went up to 10 and I specifically wanted it to go to 12)

Cute but already falling apart before use
I opened this last week and left it to air out. I just unwrapped the plastic to find the wooden frame is coming apart. Kid hasn’t even used it yet!
