Stones were attractive and mostly easy to identify with the chart printed on the inside of the lid. It was a nice advent calendar and we looked forward to finding our next stone. Most were cut nicely into square shapes and well polished; easy to use as gameboard tokens or set on a shelf.

My son was very surprised with this Advent Calendar this year. He Loved it! The stones are all a good size. It was fun to match the stone to the name and then read about them. I was impressed with how nice this looked also. I had bought a Lego calendar for my other sons, and this was much more sturdy and classy looking. Being the oldest, my son appreciated this. Would recommend for your rock collector.

My grown son is thoroughly enjoying this calendar. It does show you all the rocks that are in it, but they are not in order of the calendar. It’s fun to match them to the description and picture on the box. I recommend this for any age “rock hound.” I bought a more expensive one with a cute box for another friend, but this one was perfect for my son as well as inexpensive on Black Friday.

The box and the crystal sizes are very small, maybe an inch or less. But my kid loved it, the variety, and it was still and excellent value.

I ordered this for my kids. We’ve done other ones similar to this so I know they are going to enjoy it. I love that they use different colors for the “dirt” and that the gems are all different and colorful. It also comes with a gem chart so they can learn about each one they discover. I highly recommend this advent. Something different and fun this holiday season.

i purchased this for my niece and I genuinely got her excited to break open her daily crystals. i got a video and picture every day until there was nothing left. The video would typically include her breaking open the hidden crystal and the picture was the crystal after it was cleaned off. After all of them had been opened, she placed them all in a row on her dresser which she proudly displays. she loved working for them and made the experience so much more unique.
