This is a really nice shoe unit. It’s good quality and well-made, and comes with clear instructions and - I loved this bit - a couple of extra screws and dowels to make sure you have enough!Easy enough to put together on your own once you’ve worked out how to stop it falling over before the screws go in (!) - I managed it in around an hour all on my own while hubby was watching the footy in the pub so it can’t be too tricky!The one thing I disliked is that the back board has to be screwed in and has holes ready for this, but there aren’t any corresponding holes in the back of the main unit sections. So that’s hard work and I’d really recommend an electric screwdriver as I had a pretty uncomfortable blister on the palm of my hand for a couple of days. But that’s my only gripe.Have had lots of compliments on the unit, our hallway looks tidy and the dogs have finally stopped eating our shoes. Perfect :)

Upon opening the package, I was a little apprehensive regarding how thin the boards were. They are only 12mm thick, compared to 15-18mm that are used in a lot of flat packed furniture. This turned out to not be an issue, because when assembled the structure is very sturdy.The instructions were easy to follow, and all the boards are marked for easy identification. The top cushion is thin but comfortable enough as it's only used when putting on shoes, and the covering material feels like it's decent quality. This is held in place with velcro strips which enable removal of the cushion for cleaning.The shelves in the centre are fixed in position, but those in the end sections are adjustable. If required, you can remove them completely to enable storage of boots.

This is very well made and once constructed looks really good. I was putting it together myself and appreciated the way that holes had been drilled making it simple to make progress, but half way through I hit a problem and realised that some holes would have to be drilled. This was frustrating and I can’t understand why most holes are pre-drilled but other vital ones are not. I had to call on my husband and his drill to make the project complete.

I’ve been on the lookout for a practical yet stylish solution for my entryway, and this shoe bench has ticked all the boxes. We needed a narrow shoe rack for our narrow hall space. We are a family of 5 so I ordered 2 and stacked them on top of each other (stuck down using wood glue and screws). This gives us plenty of storage and makes the space look neat and tidy. We have not put the back of the unit on because I feel it works better for us this way. We obviously can't sit on it now because it's too high but that wasn't a priority for us. It took us 1 hour to build them both and they feel very strong and sturdy. I love the adjustable shelves and the overall look of the unit. My partner wears size 10 shoes and they fit in with no problems. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a stylish and simple shoe storage solution.

This is a brilliant little shoe rack. I was a bit worried that it would look cheap as it was so inexpensive,but no .It is well made easily assembled and really looks the part. It is great for my boots .Everything that you need to assemble it was in the pack.

Ideal shoe shelves for a smaller lobby like ours, we've managed to fit everything from toddler shoes to adult size 10's on the shelves without adjusting, my ankle boots are too big however I can adjust the shelf to accommodate them if I wanted too I just prefer the smaller shelves to fit more in it, especially as we are family of 4.The bench is like lovely for sitting and putting your shoes on and my kids are actually excited to put their shoes away on this!
