My fancy pan isn't my fancy pan anymore, thanks to this.
During the pandemic, I somehow found myself embracing cast iron, and ended up replacing just about all of my cookware. Then I replaced a lot of those pieces with nicer cast iron. And then I started thinking about moving from that to carbon, but had a chance to try this pan out.For starters, and I know this is shallow, there's something about the strong '80s aesthetic from the hunter green and gold that makes me kind of wistful. It doesn't go with anything in my kitchen, but I really like it for some reason. As far as cooking goes, out of the box, it's pretty incredible. Yes, with lots and lots of work, you can get cast to act similarly and have the benefits of non-stick without the off-gassing of Teflon and similar materials, but being able to just use this and not commit yourself to the same maintenance of cast iron is rather nice. If you're the sort of person who is dedicated to "time is money" then this probably pays for itself in the time you save not maintaining cast. The cooking dynamics on my gas cooktop took a little getting used to. Not quite the ramp up or down as cast, and not quite as fast as Circulon. But once I got the hang of it, I was off to the races. Is this a life-changing "I'm going to cook all of the things now" type of pan? No. Not unless a single pan is literally the only piece of cookware you want to own -- in which case, this probably should be in your top 3 contenders.

Great pan so far, though it does seem expensive but only time will tell if it’s worth it!
TLDR: Great pan so far, though it does seem expensive but only time will tell if it’s worth it! I love this pan right now, as it cooks amazingly, heats up quickly and cools down quickly, and nothing sticks to it at all so far. The packaging is amazing, and this would make a great gift for anyone who loves cooking! My only worry is that it works well now, but that down the road it will start to stick badly. I know this happens overtime with any pan, but since this specific brand is sooo expensive, I would expect it to last a lot longer without this issue. If it does not, then is this brand worth the high price tag? So for now I will say this brand seems great, but I won’t know how worth the buy the pan is until some time has passed and I have used this everyday for awhile!

But why so heavy?!
I have seen these pans all over social media and they are gorgeous. The price is a bit high and what they don’t tell you is that they are extremely heavy. It is like lifting a pile of bricks. With that said it does take two hands for me to move this pan around the kitchen. This pan is not the easiest to wash because it is so heavy so I don’t use it as often as I could.
