Good value
Very good value item particularly when compared to the well know opposition. Useful screens (front and rear) and intuitive controls. Seems robust and recorded picture quality looks good even on a large flat screen tv. I'm using mainly to record walks and holidays rather than action as such and the compact size makes the camera easy to transport. Delivered with a multitude of accessories which should cover most of the ways to mount the camera and also a spare battery. Image stabilisation is OK so far but not yet tried in more challenging ways (such as the handlebars on my bike). I bought the external mic separately though this is only really needed if audio is a major factor for use.

Great 1st action camera
Was looking for an action camera to take on fishing trip abroad in a few months time, never had an action camera before, I did a lot of research to pick the right one to try as did not want to spend a fortune in case I never used again. Most of the reviews pointed to the Akaso Brave 4 Pro so I took a change and got one. Wow, What a bargain this little camera is, so far have only used to test in the garden to see what the quality was like, I was amazed with this little camera, the image was great, stabilisation was good when running round garden to test it, the sound quality was good. Cannot say how it operates under water as I will not be using it for this purpose, although I might try one day just to check it out. I was not expecting it to be this good, the amount of accessories that come with it are good, although I can see I won't use them all, have got myself a chest harness to use with it, the only thing missing was a "J" hook to attach to harness. I will be using it before I go abroad using the harness on a local fishing trip. The 2 batteries that come with it are a good touch, when I looked at other cameras you had to buy extra batteries, would I recommend this camera, yes if you are looking for an easy to use 1st action camera, easy to use as well, the Akaso app seems to be OK, but would recommend downloading videos and pics to laptop direct as did take a while just using the WiFi option.I don't normally do reviews but was so surprised by this camera I felt it might help others to choose

Great action camera
This is obviously not a top tier premium camera, but with that there isn't much to dislike. All of my experience is from using the camera as a helmet cam on my motorbike. The image quality is very good. Image stabilisation works very well and I've had no issues with the waterproof case. Unfortunately the waterproof case gives no ability to use an external mic, and travelling at between 40 - 70mph gives far to much wind noise during playback.Night mode is fairly good, though my bikes dash does impact the exposure somewhat.Battery life is good. I'd prefer it to be more but 1 battery lasts at least 1.5h on 1080p30fps.My biggest problem with the camera is actually to do with the time/date setting. It keeps resetting to the start of the year. Seems to not be related to removing the battery either. In addition to the cameras pros, it also comes with software for your phone (or probably tablet but I downloaded it on my phone.) The software is free, and far exceeds anything I expected from either accompanying or moreso, free software. You can alter audio, and video with multiple layers and overlays. Export in multiple formats. Again. Just great.

Fantastic purchase
Got this so my partners 10 year old could start recording her travels on the basis that if she used it and got into it, we would upgrade to a Go Pro. No need!Very simple to use and great video/picture quality. Sound recording could be improved but luckily we purchased the microphone to go alongside it and that works really well.Watched a few videos to work out how to use all of the attachments, they're quite simple though.Brilliant travel camera, compact and small whilst being robust. I'm even thinking of getting one myself it is so good!

Brilliant Buy!!
Just bought this so too early to go e an in depth review but first impressions are of a high quality product and great value. Packaging was nice and practical without being excessive. On taking it all out everything was there and after charging up the batteries in the twin charger, which was a nice inclusion even though you can charge them in the camera, I had it setup in minutes. Connecting to the app on my phone was also straight forward. Lots of features which I will enjoy finding out more a out as I use it. Plenty of accessories to get you started as well haven't had a chance to figure them all out yet but they seem of good quality. All in all I am impressed with the quality of this camera so far and looking forward to using it next week doing some kayaking and a white water rafting trip so excited to see the results. Only giving it 4 stars at this time until I e used it a bit more then will update.

Terrible product on all levels
The ‘diving mode’ is awful and just brings everything up as yellow on blue. The app connects to the camera but won’t show any video or photos so I’m now10k miles away from my computer and unable to download any images or video. I’ve even taken the microSD card out and put it into my card reader on my iPad (which works for everything else) but the card shows no content. The metal nut has also started rusting after 5 dives so definitely not an underwater suitable camera.Would NOT recommend at all! If I hadn’t thrown the packaging away this would be getting returned as soon as I get home.
