8/21/2023 - Very pleased with the purchase9/7/2023 - Have changed my star rating from 5 to 3 stars. The little chains that suspend the censer are a rather soft metal and are prone to snapping. I've had this censer dump hot coals on my floor or home altar on 3 separate occasions now. Sitting flat on a table is the safest use for this censer, and it is very beautiful for this purpose, but at that point I would've bought a smaller hand censer.The censer itself would be 5 stars, but the chains I would give 1 star. They are not sturdy or reliable enough for what they are meant for. They pose a massive fire hazard as a result. If you don't mind a little arts and crafts, you can buy golden chains cheap at a Hobby Lobby and replace them. I plan to do so soon.

This is not solid brass....... to make it look good I used a chemical strip to take the gold paint off of the incense burner.... turned out ok but this was not worth the money.. two thumbs down 👎🏻👎🏻
