Bandai Hobby HGBF 1/144 Super Fumina Gundam Build Fighters Try Model Kit

Got this for other half as he's into Gundam and of course the Bandai model kits that are available to assemble and make up. Goes well with the rest of the collection you can get and sits nicely either on a shelf or in a glass cabinet

Super Fumina is a great beginners kit, with simpler than your average 1/144 gundam kit.The backpack is great as it allows for so much customization and that is what this kit is about for me. Customizing this kit with other parts from any other 1/144 scale gundam is relatively easy, as long as their is a peg or peg hole Super Fumina's backpack can hold it.The kit comes molded in GM Cardigan yellow, gundam white, gundam gun grey, a flesh tone, green clear effect, and a mousy brown color for the hair. For me the hair color is the #1 thing that you should try to paint in a different color, something more anime appropriate like pink, blue, mint, ect.This kit does have some issues that Bandai tries to mitigate by including extra stickers (similar to bearguy) and 2 options for eyes, a set for stickers ans a set you can paint. The main problem is the eyeliner stickers wrap around to the side of the ears and only one of the ears is molded in flesh while the other ear is molded in white with a flesh colored sticker. The ankles on this model stink and have one of the most limited ranges of foot and ankle movement, this lack of mobility severely hinders the kits posability Bandai does include a stand but requires the backpack to use. The maid hat and skirt are made from a rubbery material and is very different from any other Gunpla kit. These rubbery parts can be troublesome to clean and panel line, sand paper has a hard time cleaning the nubs and paint and ink have a hard time adhering to the rubber on these pieces. I recommend using a sharp hobby knife to remove and clean the nub marks. For the panel lines on the rubber parts I used a mechanical pencil, as the graphite for some reason stuck to the rubber. The rubber skirt also has several armor pieces that like to fall out while posing. Bandai also forgot to include any beam effect parts and will require a round peg effect part to use the robots shoulder mounted beam sabers.*I painted the hair light blue and the outfit a light pink, the wings and beam saber are from Wing Zero Custom Endless Waltz ed. and her buddy is the 1/144 HGBF Crossbone Gundam X-1 Full Cloth ver.GBFT.

フィギュア的な機体とは言え設定画に近づけて欲しかった。頭でかすぎ、髪パーツに空洞あり(溶かしランナーで埋めた)ランドセルに付くサブアーム的な物は予備もあるから延長したり他キットへの流用にいいかも。
