I was reluctant to purchase this fishfinder shade cover because of it's $60.00 price, but after failing to find anything that was the right fit my 9" Lowrance Hook Reveal, I bit the bullet and bought it. When it arrived, it fit PERFECT, was easy to install, well made and looks great. I give this item 5 stars and would definitely recommend it if you can look beyond the hefty price!

The shade works well to improve the image on my Lowrance fishfinder on sunny days. Moreover it is quite easy to install. My only complaint is the price which is far too high in my opinion. Some competition from other manufacturers would help.

I’m really happy with this shroud. The installation process was fiddly (the screws are tiny and need to be maneuvered in the space between the shroud and the fish finder) but it was very doable with some effort. My only complaint is that, while it does accommodate the lowrance sunshade/screen cover, the gripping grooves on the sides of the cover are made unreachable by the shroud. I got around this limitation by filing the locking tabs on the screen protector to make them release with pressure from the bottom, but finger grooves or holes on the sides big enough to allow fingers to hook on the edges of cover would be a nice addition. Overall, the instructions were adequate, but my screen came with two pieces of metal that aren’t mentioned on the instructions or in the videos I’ve watched online, so, that little mystery was a brief waste of time, but nothing to get upset about.

Absolutely save your money and spend elsewhere. For $80 these come as thin brittle plastic with weak spots on bottom left and right which you get small reinforcement plates to add. Even with, these area snapped within three days of installing. Plus they don’t actually offer any shade or glare prevention. Unless sun is directly overhead. They are also quite large and on the front graph it inhibits your field of view significantly unless you have. A way to lay it down flat. Like I said for the money do not buy these. You’re better off using a heat gun to reform some Tupperware to fit and spray it black.

I ordered a visor for my father because the lowrance units can get really hot and I went to install it and found out he told me the wrong lowrance unit model. I contacted Berley support and they were great on exchanging the visor I ordered for the correct one. The visor is well made and easily to install. I also appreciated the no hassle exchange.

Fits unit perfectly but makes it difficult to remove screen cover when visor is installed
