I recently learned about these speed load heads about 2 years ago and I will never use another head. If you own a company and are just sick of trying to deal with teaching people how to load line over and over this will save so many headaches. The line is very durable and last a lot longer then you would think you can buy the line in packs of 10 or 25 and it takes no brain power at all to switch to a new spool quick and easy and no tools are required, I’ve never had a head get jammed up or any issue at all. This could be the best purchase you ever make for lawn care crews or home use. Would recommend over and over!

Was unaware you cannot use other type of string to restring this head. You HAVE to purchase and use the discs. Very disappointing. Nice trimmer head but not worth the cost in the long run. The discs are pricey compared to a roll of string I can refill multiple times.

I bought one of these about 6-7 years ago. Well I've finally worn it out. Having the speed loader on the Stihl FS-40 has made weed trimming so much easier. The bump feed on it actually works. Swapping line is a breeze and takes will take you more time. Fetching it. I hope these never get discontinued as I've been sold when I recieved my first one.

this grass trimmer head is just great, after years of fighting with string on these heads it is so nice to be able to just garb a reload string cartridge pop the head off, load the cartridge in place, snap the head on and go. the bump feed works very well, however I feed mind by hand, so I don't wear out the bump knob which is made of plastic. I wish I had known about these years ago. I will buy this product again.

I thought for the price it can't be much, boy was I wrong. I weedeated 2 overgrown banks, that had muscadine vines, blackberry briars, small sapplings, grass as high as hay, weeds, & creeping cucumbers. After cutting 2 medium size banks, to my surprise there was still half of the original roll left. I kept waiting for it to run out of line, but all I kept running out of was gas. If I'd been using regular line I'd hate to think how much line I'd used & how many times I'd had to stop to put more line on the head. So this is a great time & money saver. I've bought 2 more since the first one, so get yours before I get them all...lol

I really like the concept of the SpeedLoad system, but this item does not work on my Toro 51958 curved shaft trimmer. I gave it 3 stars because it looks well made and would be nice to not have to be constantly winding the trimmer line. Just a heads up that the list of trimmers that the 24-250 documentation says it will work on isn't 100% accurate.
