Acrylicos Vallejo VJ77702 "Duraluminium" Metal Color, Silver, 32 ml

I cannot believe the coverage and luster on this acrylic metallic see picture that at is one coat brushed on to a red base. I use this on miniature figures and the tiniest amounts flow really smoothly with regular coverage, paint is so fine I’m sure it will airbrush directly without any thinner or flow products but I have not actually used it through my airbrush yet

Very versatile, you can use it neat, with brush or airbrush. You can mix it with transparent colours or just paint over it with them and obtaining ANY metal.

Another very good Vallejo acrylic. Helps to add shade differences on aircraft, just remember to use gloss black primer

Easily one of the best metallic paints I've used super fine flakes and great neutral tone rather than blue as some others. Can be challenging for edge highlights due to the low viscosity

For years, enamels such as Alclad have been the only real option for airbrush users seeking a realistic metal finish; no comparable acrylic formulation has been available.Spanish manufacturer Vallejo specialises in acrylics formulated for airbrushes, and has now come up with a solution. These Vallejo metallics flow through the airbrush easily without blocking and offer a superb finish, greatly enhanced when the metallic paint is applied over Vallejo’s gloss black primer which adds depth and extra sheen.The paints may be used straight from the bottle into the airbrush or thinned 4:1 with Vallejo thinner or ‘airbrush flow improver’.If you want an aluminium finish, several variants are on offer. 'Duraluminium’ is a little on the dark side but looks fabulous, with real depth and a shiny metallic finish.These paints are supplied in a 32ml pot which covers around half a square metre. You won’t need multiple coats. It’s a good product but a bit pricey against for example Tamiya acrylics, but worth it for the high-quality finish and ease of using acrylics.

Very nice paint, needs a good shake and appears thin an watery but has a very nice coverage and finish. Would recommend.

This thin covers like mad. I brushed it, I airbrushed it, you can thin it way more and it is still opaque as hell.Inks + this = metallic sorted.
