Audien ATOM 2 Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid, Premium Comfort Design and Nearly Invisible

I couldn't be happier with my aids. I was having feedback issues so called Audien. My rep I talked to was beyond helpful! Ben, addressed my concerns and walked me thru all the steps to get positive results. In the end I upgraded to Atom Pro 2 and they are perfect. No issues at all. Don't get discouraged. These are very easy to change modes and volume. When you call you will actually get a live friendly person on the phone. So I just want to commend Audien for having every capable customer service reps like Ben.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this brand because of reviews and videos. I received the hearing aids quickly. The sound was more tinny than I would have liked, but that was mitigated by turning down he volume a bit. However, the squealing and howling was something so annoying that even my wife could hear the aids howling. I followed all the suggestions provided from their website, changed the earbud sizes, turned down the volume, and made sure they were tight in my ears. After almost 10 days of trying to make these hearing aids work for me, I gave up. I returned them today.

Value for money:At a reasonable price these OTC hearing aids promised to improve my hearing. These aids have helped significantly in overcoming tinnitus while watching TV. Additionally, the Audien support team had many good reviews, offering excellent support and service. Unfortunately, I did have issues with one unit not holding a battery charge. When I explained the issue to Aleli, she immediately authorized a return for replacement which arrived in just a few days.

bought this for my parents but they both didnt like the fit. they tried the different ear pieces and couldn't feel comfortable. also it wasn't so easy for them to use. Theyre over 60 so maybe its that but the product should has a an easy functionality for the

A bit difficult to fit, one has to fool around to get the proper fit to the ear. Once there and adjusted to wearing them, they function surprisingly well BUT only when they work. I waited for them to charge till both lights were green, fit them in my ear and within half hour one of them died! I recharged them but the one dead, remained dead. I cannot fuss with companies that do not do quality control and ship out defective merchandise. I will try a different company next.

Too much background noise.

I started with the Atom 1 and loved it so much that I decided to try the Atom 2. While the Atom 2 didn’t quite match my specific hearing needs (it had more high-frequency gain than I needed), the controls were definitely a step up.What really impressed me, though, was Audien’s customer support. They truly listened to my feedback and worked with me until we found the right solution. That led me to the ION hearing aids, and I have to say, they’re fantastic. The fit is excellent, and the adjustable gain makes all the difference. The journey from Atom to ION has been a great experience.If your hearing profile is more typical, the Atom 2 may work well, but for me, the ION has been perfect. Though the Atom 2 didn't work for me, I have to give 5 stars for the amazing customer service and responses.

Worked right out of the box. Five volume settings and four programs that actually work. Single button on each ear piece does all the switching. Sound quality is a little tinny but not bad. These things amplify all the sounds around you so if you can't hear your wife when the water's running you still wont be able to hear her when the water's running. Eating your cornflakes makes more noise than you thought. Comfortable. Can take a little tweaking in your ear to eliminate feedback. Basically hard to beat for the money.
