Absolutely delicious pastries--like eating a small babka with a flaky exterior. Hard to eat just one! Each is separately packed so they stay fresh for a month! Expensive, but cannot find at the grocery.

Totally outrageously expensive, but they satisfy my sweet cravings. Excellent with coffee or tea. Yum!

I don't know exactly how I can ever take a photo of anything from Sterns Bakery because it's half out of the box and it's already gone. That is how good the rugala is. I've bought it in chocolate and vanilla and I bought a chocolate babka three times now as of today. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing everything from Stearns is. There's nothing I wouldn't recommend , everything comes extremely fast and in perfect condition and even in this very hot weather nothing as shown any damage to the products or any change in taste or flavor and again I can't say it enough times everything these people make is wonderful. If you grew up on New York bakeries like me you're an Aficionado on these things. When I was little all the Bronx and the outer boroughs had were these great Jewish bakeries and now they are far and few between. I was amazed to find them here on Amazon and I am grateful to them and for all of their yumminess. Buy anything from them and you will not be disappointed. I don't review everything I purchase but I consistently review Sterns Bakery products and since I found them here on Amazon I continue to buy their Goody's. I have people who have never tried to things I used to have and now they are completely addicted and for good reason. You should try this and if you're on the fence don't be. The seller is wonderful and their items are amazing and there's no going wrong here. You are definitely in tasty Town USA no matter where you are if you order from here. If you have never tried anything like this and you like a sweet snack but not overly disgusting sweet this is perfect. These are sweet and light and heavenly and dangerous because from the time you open the package don't be surprised if you're ordering again before you finish the last pastry. Which could be in a matter of minutes if there's a few people around. I think I won't tell anybody next time I order so that I might get more then one piece before they are gone but maybe it's better I do or else they would have to grease my apartment door to get me out of here sideways. That's how good Stern's is and everything they made is just beyond good. There have to be better adjectives for this place but I'm just here to tell you this is a must have , a must try, I must buy kind of item. Thank you to everyone at Sterns Bakery from baker's to shippers for all the yummy Joy you have brought into my life and the life of my family and friends. Thank you thank you thank you.

I just got these yesterday. All the cookies were a total mess (see photo)..looks like they had a rough ride. But, I was hoping they would taste good even if they didnt look good. I took one bite and couldn't finish the rest. It did not taste good...not even sure if I can explain the taste. It also smelled off...like a plastic smell. I dont know if they went bad or what. Amazon stated this vendor does not allow returns. I even tried going to the Stern store but there is no contact info. I will throw them out...it is a waste of moneyIve never ordered Stern products before and these looked like a great sugar-free snack. All their products look great but I would never order these again...not even to retry. It is also a lessons learned on buying some food products online.

So good. The flavor reminds me of the Entemann's chocolate donuts and, much like them, are incredible with a good cup of coffee. My only problem is there arent nearly enough in one package.

just to be clear, these are just ordinary cookies resembling Croissants in appearance, this is not a fluffy Croissant bun, this is a shortbread cookie resembling a Croissant, these cookies are no different from traditional sugar-free sweets that can be found in any store for $5, these supposedly Croissants are even not bad in taste but I think that for over $20 they should be delicious and not just average, not worth $20, maybe $10 is the RIGHT PRICE

Hopefully it is as sugar free as advertised. It is delicious and I bought it instead of a birthday cake for my diabetic sister but everyone at the birthday dinner really liked it.
