The Exotic EP Boost provides two key tone shapers to your signal path. First, it emulates the sweetened tone of the Echoplex EP 3 making single coils sound thicker yet sparkly and humbuckers round and full. Rockers of yesteryear used EP3’s for that very reason. I use the EP Boost exclusivity for that reason.Second, if you set your amp to the edge of breakup you’ll push it into to a thick creamy overdrive.
