Will not close or open with the key, small roller bearing when shown in the hole will not slide into the barrel to let the bolt close! It’s well lubricated but will only close when the ball is manually pushed down which you cannot do when the bolt is fitted, so basically it’s next to useless.

Bought one and the mounting bracket was bent and welded on at an angle. Thankfully this was refunded but then bought a second one, this was also slightly welded at an angle but less than before but not bent so decided to install it but the key slips when trying to open the lock. So a bit dodgy if trying to open the door in a hurry.

Easy to install with just a small hole to put the "key". Bought this to fit on an aluminium external door, but fitting has not yet been done. Essentially being stainless it appears to be ideal, but the alignment of the weld on the face plate to the barrel is poor. When the key is inserted it is not square to the door. Not worth the hassle of returning, but I'm sure its going to niggle me every time it's used!

Terrible quality flimsy key feels like it will snap in the lock also very stiff to turn
