Body-Solid BSTDH Dumbbell Hooks (Pair)

I started back lifting weights last year and had to find creative ways to work my chest and shoulders due to rotator cuff injuries. My brother recommended these spotting hooks for dumbbells so I decided to try them out. So glad I did, they have been a great addition to my workouts. Makes doing dumbbell exercises so much easier and has taken a lot of stress off my shoulders. Highly recommend this product.

The dumbbells do not fit the spotter hooks completely. The spotter hooks are too small/narrow. The dumbells at most gyms are oversized handles that do not fit into the hooks.

the barbell assistance was a nice touch rather than awkwardly trying to hitch up the weights. I was able to put up much heavier weight with the new grips and loved the pump as well as the safety!

I've seen this online and decided to finally give it a try. These ones are very uncomfortable to use, but that's not the problem. I would be okay with that. The problem is that these things are extremely dangerous. I missed the bar with my right side weight and I almost smash my face. It literally missed my jaw by a fraction of an inch. Now my elbow and shoulder hurt a lot and I can't even do a normal press. It's already been a week since this happened. Be careful with this product, I will never use it again.

it does not fit the dumbells in the gym the opening is to small i have to bend it wider.
