Great flavor

I love peas. These were sweet and tastes great. Add some sugar and butter and perfect, easy! The peas are not hard and the size and color were great as well as the texture. Good quality.

These are good but not great canned peas. I purchased several cans and found that the cook level varies from can-to-can. Some were cooked perfectly to a tender but not overly mushy consistency. A few cans, however, had peas that were undercooked. They weren't underdone to the point of being crunchy, but they had a more firm texture than I preferred. They were notably more firm than other brands of canned peas I've used. The taste was good -- just the texture was affected.One star down for the inconsistent cook level, but otherwise a good tasting option for canned peas that is usually priced below the name brand options.
