These are extremely effective. I also appreciate the fact that as they get dirty they just start to look more and more like a real banana. I’m not sure how long they’re supposed to last but they COMPLETELY removed all stink from the shoes I put them in.

I got these for my husbands works boots and they are AMAZING! The scent completely rids the boots of any bad smells! His feet get sweaty and these make them dry for the next day! I keep these deodorizers in my boots in my work locker room overnight and they work ver well! The scent can be strong at first, but it smells great. I personally like the lavender smell, though it starts to fade away after the first week of use. My boots have been stink free since I started using them, I would recommend to everyone for work boots.

I tried these after all the typical baking soda, newspaper, etc. tricks weren't making a dent in my climbing shoes. These work like a charm and now I have to almost stick my face into the shoe to get a whiff. The smell can be very strong when you first take them out of the package, and I figure they probably need some time to soak up everything that's already in your shoes, so I suggest leaving them in your shoes when you know you won't need to wear them the next day. The scent is herbal and pleasant.One star deducted because one of the bananas was so overfilled that the seam had split and it spills the deodorizing power into the package. I guess it's a good thing that they're not skimping on providing the materials? As long as I'm not throwing it around it's fine. I figure if an extra grain of lavendar or whatever sticks in my shoe, it can only help.

These are absolutely amazing and well worth the money! My son’s shoes smelled absolutely horrible and these cut the smell within minutes. We’ve had the bananas for about 4 months now and they are still doing a fine job.

I just decided to try these for my hubbys work boots. What did I have to lose as they were on sale? The have a strong scent but they fit in the boot well and they seem to really soak up odor. I would buy them again.

I use these boot bananas for a pair of shoes that I bartend in full time. They don’t get rid of 100% of the smell, but it removes a hefty amount! The smell of the boot bananas is mostly natural and pleasant, and so far very strong. Smells like lemons and eucalyptus. Overall good value for around 30 bucks, a lot better than some of the other products on the market. They are about as heavy as some bean bags and a lot as big as a typical pair of bananas.
