Love this thing
Though not strictly necessary, this is a big quality of life upgrade. This makes my CAD and CAM work so much more enjoyable. I feel more connected to my designs so the work flows more smoothly. Highly recommend.

I give this 5 starts but.....
Okay, I own almost everything that 3D Connexion makes. I started with the small, little Space Mouse wireless. I liked it so much I bought the uber expensive Enterprise addition with a CAD mouse. The CAD mouse ultimately died and I didn't replace it. Because I use two different computers for my CAD work I bought (as an upgrade from the Space Mouse) a Space Mouse Wireless Pro. I use all of these devices exclusively with Fusion 360. They are LIFE SAVERS and will cut your work time in half. Now for the negatives....Both the little Space Mouse and Space Mouse Pro SEEM to behave differently. I cannot seem to configure either to match the Enterprise version in terms of rotate and zoom functionality. The Enterprise is 100% intuitive with little customization out of the box. The other two seem to have some different method of control that, no matter how I configure them (and I've matched the configuration between all three feature-for-feature) they do not perform in exactly the same manner. It's a bit strange. My next, and by FAR the bigger complaint is that they are difficult to get working with Apple silicon Macs. There is a tricky security approval process that can cause all kinds of headaches. Each time Apple updates their OS I cringe at the thought of trying to possibly reconfigure these mice. There are a lot of similar complaints on the 3D Connexion forums. The manufacturer is always behind the proverbial eight ball when it comes to Apple support. When you purchase an input device, especially anything that connect to an Apple, you always expect really good plug-and-play compatibility.Still, for the negatives, I couldn't live without these devices for use with Fusion 360. My biggest regret is that I did not go ahead and spend another $100 to buy a second Enterprise model. Finally, these product are VERY well constructed and quite ergonomic. Even the tiny Space Mouse wireless is a heavy little chunk of steel that is insanely heavy for the size. These are not some sort of plastic, Chinesium junk.

Does NOT work remotely
This is a great product, it has good build quality and is very ergonomic. Why the negative review? I work remotely on CAD through another computer. I initially bought the this version and couldn't get the joystick to work through the remote computer, but all other buttons would work. Their tech support wasn't helpful throughout this process, and I had to fend for myself. I ended up returning the Wireless version, and purchasing the wired PRO version and it worked! If you work remotely, do NOT buy this version. The bluetooth interferes with connection to the remote desktop.

Pricey but worth it
I do like the features of the pro model, but even the basic spacemouse would be a giant quality of life upgrade for anyone doing a lot of work with CAD software. I was pleased to learn that I could also use it with my 3d printer's slicer software.

It works great
Using with SketchUp. Programmable buttons are a game changer for me.Easy to setup and quick to learn.

Pretty Good
I got this version so I could use it both in office and at home via VPN.I was able to get it working via the VPN using remote desktop, but the buttons do not work over remote desktop so it really is only useful as the joystick at home.It also seems to work better plugged in at the office because it seemed like range of the bluetooth dongle isnt great. It is in the same place as bluetooth dongle for my Logitech mouse, but when i use the spacemouse via the wireless reciever, the custom mapped buttons do not work reliably. Ultimately it would probably have been better to purchase the wired option for the office and the nano wired option for home if the buttons dont work anyways. It also just seems to have the random software issues where sensitivity of the joy stick randomly changes, and various non-default settings seem to reset themselves every computer restart.

Save yourself time!
After using this product, I have been able to perform identical tasks much faster and more efficient.

Non-Existent Customer Support - Would not Connect Wirelessly
Tried multiple times and multiple ways to get this to connect wirelessly and could not. It works great connected via USB, but why pay the premium for wireless connectivity then?Contacted customer support with my problem and never heard back from them.
