Found easy to apply
I like the control on my brush. Very clean product to use . I read that it could penetrate thru Thompson's Waterseal. Gave it a go today. It is an expensive solution and should have been my 1st choice years ago when I stained my new fence.NEW NEWS: I re-ordered 1 gal in 2024 and to my surprise the can was laid on its side in a over sized box filled with puffers and 2 other items.What happened to using Keep Upright 1 gal paint boxes and lid fasteners?I tried to tell Amazon shipping . There is no way to do that. Amazon people need more common sense training.

This looks like dark pink paint
I have a beautiful redwood deck that's been stained many times using Super deck..which for some crazy reason..environmentalists..is no longer available. Thought I'd try Cabot. The mistake is mine..I ordered semi solid instead of semi transparent. I tried it on a board that's not plainly visible. Thank goodness. It's awful. It's paint. Totally covers the beautiful grain of the wood. It's flat and unattractive and will ruin the look of your deck. Plus every brush stroke shows so it'd be very labor intensive to blend. Money down the drain as I'll never use it!

Expensive but ok
You can buy this product cheaper in stores. You won’t see much wood after applying this. After seeing the results we sanded our deck with 40 grit sandpaper with power tools and sealed it clear. It looks way better now.
