My Pit Boss is around 4 years old. The fire-pot has been rusting out for a while and I knew I needed to replace that and bought this kit because eventually the other parts would need to be replaced. Good thing I did because smoke started coming out of my pellet hopper soon after receiving the parts kit. Not only was my fire-pot bad but the auger motor also gave out. I replaced everything in about an hour or so and now it's working like new.

Just finished installing and everything works great, my smoker is better than before. However, it doesn't come with instructions. The installation is pretty simple after watching a few videos online. Here's some pointers, 1. Make sure your hopper is as empty as possible, its going to drain everywhere if you don't. 2. Make sure you have zip ties because you need to do some cable management to make sure it doesn't get in the way of the fans. 3. The fan is quieter than the stock one, but if you don't hear it running as soon as you turn it on, something is blocking it, take it apart (after you remove the pellets again) and check the cables. 4. You really on only need a screw driver, alan keys, and needle nose pliers, all things you probably have in your house. 5. I googled the vendor name and didn't find anything so if you look for online instructions I hope you have better luck than me.Would be 5 star if there was instructions, otherwise good value for money.

great quality. perfect fit on traeger grills. motors are way better than traeger. gets alot hotter. i am a traeger tec and would get these over traeger any day.
