Awesome product.It was 50 degrees during installation , not warm enough to get the fabric warm enough to stretch to get all the buttons locked down .I buttoned what I could to close it up ,Put a space heater inside the bed for about 15 minutes. Worked perfectly to warm it up to get the canvas to stretch to install for the first time.I love it. Looks awesome. Would buy again .Took it through a touch less car was today minimal and I mean minimal water came in.

The hardware & instructions came neatly and securely packed, but the actual cover/soft too was completely missing from the box. Have to return. I’ll be buying elsewhere

great product glad i bought it. Had it for a couple months now. Pay close attention to the install instructions I installed the frame backwards and could not figure out why it didnt fit right. Once I reread the instructions it says right there the #1 issue is ppl install it backwards exactly like i did. The colored dots have to go on the driver side. When it rains, for most part the bed is dry. one spot has slight drips near tailgate but with some slight adjustments Im sure I can make it 100% weatherproof with little effort.Be aware it may not snap in at first. I installed this in february so it was cold out. I could not snap in all the buttons as the canopy was shrunk from the cold. Took a hair blow dryer on full blast to the canopy and was able to warm it up to the point where it stretched out enough to snap all buttons into place. Great addition to my truck I love it.

W Good canopy cover. I was looking for alternative to a hard shell. Note you cannot use this with Tacoma Trail boxes. But I was planning on taking mine out anyways. Took about an hour to install.

Like several others...the canvas was missing. You have no other choice but to return the item and won't see a refund for 30 days. Worst purchase EVER!

The functionality of having a softtopper is great, you can keep lots of gear in your truck bed without worry of it getting soaked. However this is where the cons start...1: one of the retaining buckles that holds the sides rolled up cracked within 2 months of use. To their credit, Softtoppers warranty was great and they sent out a replacement kit free of charge.2: I have not yet tried to add any waterproofing but I would describe this as more water resistant. There's a few drops in the truck bed after a good rain but nothing serious. Taking it through touch less car washes leaves a bit more water but that's to be expected.3: I live in a cold environment and when it dipped down to around 16 degrees, the rear vinyl window panel cracked when I tried to open it. Again, Softtoppers warranty was great and they made it right by sending me my choice of another rear vinyl window panel, solid canvas, or the mesh rear. I was told by their customer service to "avoid bending the rear window when it is below freezing" which is kind of ridiculous seeing as their marketing brags they are a Colorado company and their toppers are super durable.In summary: The versatility of the softtopper is nice since your stuff in the bed stays mostly dry while you can fold it down or remove it entirely to use an open bed for large items. However this product had some QC issues. If you're willing to deal with Softtoppers customer service I don't doubt they will make it right.

I love this top, I get all kinds of great comments about it, but only one problem, the clear plastic is super brittle during the winter. I have only had mine for about 4 months now and the clear plastic cracked in me when I opened it ine cold morning.

Easy installation looks great and excellent functionality and water resistant
