Stens 240-991 Friction Wheel, MTD 935-0243B, ea, 1, Multi

This was an inexpensive, perfect fit for the original factory part. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the right side wheel on my Craftsman snowblower. I had never removed it before, and it seemed like the factory had galled the threads when the bolt was initially installed. A little PB Blaster and a lot of torque, for the entire length of the bolt eventually removed it. I was expecting it would be as difficult to re-install, and it was not.The removal of the hex shaft and friction wheel assembly was easy, but took a bit of manipulation to get the assembly out. Removing the existing friction wheel and installing the new one was the easiest part of the whole task. After re-assembly I tested it, and it works great!

Fit my snowblower. It seemed to work fine when I put the snowblower away for the season.

have a 26 inch MTD that was left for dead on the side of the road. I replaced virtually all bearings, belts, many gaskets, regreased everything. The friction wheel on it looked like someone was eating it. This was a direct fit. I accidentally bought an entire wheel, then realized this is what I needed. It was stupid easy to fix and took me 20 minutes. All thats required is a simple wrench, small socket set etc. Rubber felt high quality.

fits and works great

Quality materials, but, it felt a wee bit large for the drive wheel during assembly - but it works just fine. Proved itself with an 8" snowfall :)
