I personally love these holders. There is a change from the last one I bought where there is a push button on the back to clasp the phone. I think I liked the other design where there was a tab that you pushed down to release. I'm certain I'll get used to this design.

I drive a Subaru, and every suitable area of the dashboard that might work for a phone mount is curved. The base for a magnetic mount was impossible to attach. This has worked great. The phone is held at a great angle and distance for easy viewing. I do have to flip it up to access the view for the back-up camera - the only draw back - but the device holds my phone securely. No shaking, no bobbling, no wobbling. The charging cord is easy to plug in when I need it. The item is durably constructed and easy to quickly remove if you want to store it out of sight when you park. I bought one to give as a gift, I was so pleased with it. I definitely recommend the product.

I liked this particular holder because it was quick and easy to install and because most car cd players are located somewhere in the center of the driver's console it makes for a perfect installation and location for your cellphone.I've used several types of cellphone holder but this one works quite well for me. Maybe for some, the only down side, would be for those vehicles where the cd player is located way too low at the dash console that installation of this holder 'may' interfere with the shifter and engaging your vehicle from the parked to the drive position might present some obstruction. Otherwise, it's great.

I ordered WizGear Car Phone Mount just to try it out and see if it really works in my car's CD slot. Well.......I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works and how easy it was to put together and install it in the CD slot.Guess what? I bought a second one after a couple of days for my husband's car & he loves it! I have a Honda S2000 and the CD slot is too close to the gear shift. You can't use this for that car model. The other thing is that there are no instructions or pictures to tell you that you have to unscrew the swivel screw in order to fit the "ball" inside. I was getting quite frustrated trying to find some instructions, product tips, etc. The only one I was able to read is that the assembly pieces didn't fit. I thought somebody else had the same problem as me. However, I figured it out. Sturdy product I wish it fit.

Our daughter got this to mount her iPhone 8 plus on the dashboard of her Nissan. It was easy to install, grips well, and is easily adjustable. Very sturdy construction. No problems with the phone connection. Doesn't block the vent like other products we had tried. Honestly, it's not as safe as having a Bluetooth connection for "hands-off" use of a mobile phone while driving, but our daughter's Nissan Sentra is not new enough (2016) for that.

This item damaged the dust cover inside my CD slot. I did not notice the damage until I removed it after a month. There is a flexible slit designed to prevent dust from entering the CD slot but the mounting mechanism spreads hard against this soft cover causing the damage. It is also unattractive to have this showing on my dash. I checked my other Toyota vehicles and they all have the same slot cover. If a piece of this cover is damaged and falls into the C D mechanism it will probably damage the CD player. You have been warned.

I really like the one I bought for my RV, so recently ordered another one for my car. It places the phone at just the right height for me, and keeps me hands free while driving. The only consideration is that if I forget to put the phone in before I drive, I have to be at a stop to use both hands to widen the sides holding the phone before I insert it. But that is minor compared to the fact that I tried numerous holders before which all failed to really secure the phone. Either they were placed in obtrusive places or fell off, or out, of the holders. This one has a wide strip that fits securely in the CD holder and keeps the phone anchored. Very happy with my purchase.
