Simple and an exact replacement item for the one the builders broke

Easy to install and works perfectly.

If you already have the internal, floor receiving "tube" installed, this is no fun to get in there. We did not have to glue ours in since it was such a tight fit, first off. Secondly, trying to line up the tabs with the included adapter, was also a chore. It works, it's in, but it required some work...definitely not a 5 minute job.

This is exactly what I wanted, however, the description could have been better. I received a CARLON E97DSB round duplex receptacle floor box cover, which is what I wanted to get in the first place, but the "Thomas & Betts" description threw me. It's definitely a Carlon product (Not Thomas & Betts).I used this to replace a receptacle cover that broke after 3 years (someone stepped right on the center of it and it cracked around the outer edge. Instructions were easy to follow, it was easy to install, and it looks great. I highly recommend. My only negative would be "value for money" -- it was about $8 more to order on-line. My local hardware stores had them in stock, but not the right color that I needed.

This was a sufficient replacement for my old floor cover. The previous one was plastic and ended up cracking. This one seems to be made of the same material so never rolls anything heavy over it. As far as installation, I’m a late 20s female with no electrical experience what so ever, and with the directions and a YouTube video I was able to successfully install this new cover. From what I understand, this cover is smaller than most standard sizes you’d find at Home Depot and Lowe’s, but it was the right size for my floor so it worked out well.

I replaced a floor electrical plug cover that had been glued shut. The new cover fit perfectly.
