This worked ok for its purpose...hanging a beautiful tea towel of Van Gohs sail boats. I used needle and matching thread to sew the towel to the rod, as discreetly as possible. I'm sure I could have done better. ;)

I was looking for a holder for the wall hanging I made with embroidery panels. I wanted something that looked nice rather than a wood stick since I am using it above my fireplace this Christmas. It fit perfectly when extended, and looks very nice with my wall hanging. I like the shiny black color. I was worried it may not hold it when extended, but it works great. I just tied knots at each end, screwed the black ends on to secure them, and hung from a nail. The first knot did not hold with this kind of string, so I had to double knot it.

It’s a good affordable option to hang your tapestry and comes with the option of using the cord or clear plastic hooks if you want a more seamless look. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use the hooks because of wires behind the wall, but it turned out nice. My tapestry is 26W x 32H and the rod seems to be holding it without a problem.

It was easy to put together and the string to hang it was long enough to adjust the hight. They also include screws, so you don’t need to hang with a string.

A bit weak for my rug, but I didn’t really spend much time doing research for one. I’m getting one with a little better appearance and strength.
