Just a DINK buying anything and everything to celebrate my dog’s birthday. Really cute hat and love that the numbers are velcro and can be used year after year.

My daughter loves to dress up her dogs in various costumes so we were pretty excited when we found this one. However, there are some issues we just can't overlook. The crown is not round and difficult to old it into a true circle. Also, this is a VERY small crown, so the pic of the crown on a St. Bernard in the product description is deceiving. And although they say this could be used for a boy or girl, I definitely wouldn't buy this for a child. In order to make this more usable, it would have been better for the numbers to stick to the crown using hook and loop or something along that line vs. having to glue them on (glue not included). Therefore, we didn't take the time to glue one on for the attached pic or her dog.It's a cute idea, but I would recommend finding another crown for a birthday party. Wish I could recommend it, but I want to be honest here.

I can understand why they flattened the crown to be mailed, but this crown will never be close to round. I've tried dampening the inside and putting a can in the center and folding it the other way, but it returns to the original shape. The elastic band is way too big for any medium to small breed that I've seen. And the numbers don't come with a way to attach them to the crown, so I guess you glue them on and that makes it kind of unusable for more than one occasion.
