This is one of those pieces that you could probably make yourself if you're a crafty person, but for the cost this is a much better use of your time and money to just buy it pre-made. I absolutely love it! It's not difficult to unroll, just pay attention. I didn't have to deal with any tangles after unrolling it. Some of the rope did look a little crinkly from shipping, but I sprayed it with a little water and everything straightened out nicely. Be careful if you do this, it is not color fast. Some of the darker colors did come up on my hands after spraying with water andpulling the rope to straighten. Not too bad though, none of the color transfered to my white walls. I like that it's made from quality macrame rope, not thin strips of fabric. I do wish it had mounting instructions or a template of where to mount the screws into the wall. But overall it wasn't too difficult to hang by myself. I added wall anchors to make sure it was secure with the hooks that were provided. I ordered the "blue" color. It is definitely more of a dark gray that has hints of dark blue. Overall, highly recommend and would happily purchase again.

This item is light weight and lovely; however, it tangles easily and is a bit tricky to fix. It is very light weight and I was able to hang with three Command hooks rather than put holes in the walls in the room at the nursing home. Overall, I really like it.

My apartment is old and so I was looking for not that fancy, so I bought it. It suits very well over all. I would say it looks little smaller in person than in the picture. It is very handmade and earthy looking which is I was looking for. 💚 One thing I would mention is that if you are looking fancy and elegant ones, maybe consider comparing this with others.
