Works great! I wasn't sure how much better it would be than using a popcorn maker, but it's a bit quieter, much more self contained, less messy and you don't need to moniter it while it's working.Just hit start and the beans are roasted and cooled on a timer. I've been using the fan at about 75% and the 'Medium' heat for a medium-dark roast.First time I got the best roast I've had at home.My only criticism is that the chaff collector doesn't really seal onto chamber, so a very small amount of chaff still escapes, but it does catch 95% of it.For the money it's definitely worth it. Hopefully I get a good amount of life out of it!

Being the only coffee drinker in the house I decided I only needed small amounts of fresh coffee daily. Roasting green beans to order seemed the obvious way to go and this small capacity machine does what it says. Perfect size for the solo drinker, many other machines are at least three times the price and of course too big. Solid build quality, hope it lasts as appears several unique parts that I'm sure are not available as spares. Don't drop the glass chamber!
